Artist Statement:
"Basically I love to create! I have a passion for painting realistic works using an impressionistic interpretation The non-representational art I create begins with play and lots of experimentation. As a result there are many layers when done. The mediums I use most often are watercolour, acrylic, and mixed media with collage.
Experiencing the Canadian landscapes growing up has had a profound impact on my work. I love to represent Canada's untamed beauty in my paintings.
Abstract art allows me the freedom to create from my inner self. I enjoy the unbridled flow of inspiration painting non-objectively and endeavour to express emotions and evoke emotions equally.
My creations come from two worlds: the beauty of the Canadian landscape and my intuitive feelings and spirit within."
